| Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to find the level of the application on sustainability and the missing parts of the government's pilot project 'Livable City Making'. The study analysed the difference of the level and characteristics on the application of the practice items of sustainability by the selection time, the subject, and the size of the project cases. The research findings are as follows. First, the level of the application on the practice items of sustainability at the using energy and resource was improving in the recently-selected projects. Also, the projects applied the difference factors on the sustainability; environment, social-cultural, and economic sustainability. Third, the downtown and business area applied the sustainability in connection with the traffic system and the urban economy. The housing area applied the susainability in connection with the making healthy village environmentally and socially. Forth, the urban size projects tend to apply the practice items of sustainability on the land use plan, the traffic system, and urban economy. The village size projects tend to apply the practice items of sustainability on the preservation of the natural environment and the ecosystem, the making bio-tope, the creating community place. |
