| Abstract |
The roof curve of Korean traditional wood architecture has characteristic form. Especially, the hip-rafter which called 'Chu-nyu' is main member of framework that makes its form. Hip rafer is made by drawing and trimming techniques of Korean master carpenters and it depends on them. The purpose of this study is clarification of Korean traditional wood architec's building techniques in manufacturing system. This study shows their own planning principle, drawing and trimming technique which makes Hip rafter. |
