Abstract Bogeumjari housing is a consumer-oriented alternative to unilateral private sector supply, offering homes to more diverse income level classes with the public sector building for installment sales and rental house supply. Bogeumjari housing district must be planned not only by the public sector but in conjunction with private construction corporations. Additionally, Bogeumjari housing district should plan community facilities based on considerations of the resident's condition. The purpose of this study is to suggest the planning strategy for community facilities of Bogeumjari housing district by analyzing advanced reservation system and residents' characteristics of long-term rental housings. As a result, the study drew significant outcomes as follows. First, residents of Bogeumjari housings show quite different characteristics than conventional housings′. Second, community facilities should be planned through classifying according to housing types, and district and region types by considering residents' characteristics. The result of this study could be useful in Bogeumjari housing district community facility planning.
