Abstract The purpose of this approach make a comparative analysis of features of visitors at crematoriums on field survey through this study. The features of visitors at 4 crematoriums were studied. The number of visitors by time and space, the number of people accompanying each corpse and the features in the behaviors of people accompanying each corpse from entry to exit were studied. Busna lacks independence and comfortableness as specialization in space is not made toward behavior. Seongnam and Suwon cannot secure comfortableness in space due to irrationality in major circulation, lowered centrality in main approach lane, and narrow space for the waiting room for the bereaved and major corridors. Sejong, on the other hand, tries to add esthetic comfortableness to physical one by securing effective area, improving centrality in major circulation and connecting internal-external spaces visually as well as with specialized rooms
