| Abstract |
This research intends to define and classify information requirements regarding to BIM-based facility management system that utilizes information from design and construction phases. It is important to defined and classify the information requirements is because they determine the functions and configuration of the system. As the first step in these efforts, the necessity of information requirement is demonstrated through research trends, BIM guides and expert interviews. The required Information for facility management is derived in terms of (1) necessary information (2) recommended information, (3)optional information by interviewing 14 facility managers. The information for facility management is identified by analyzing 2 facility management systems in Korea. In future research, the method of collecting the proposed information should be concretely developed. |
