Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to reconsider appropriate service in facility for elderly in Japan and reconfirm the importance of the concept of integrated community care. Focusing on facility which is the place for living until the end of life, necessary factors on the life at facility was analyzed through the research for preliminary consumers. And, through the consciousness survey of facility staffs, existing residents and preliminary consumers, disagreements between providers and beneficiaries or differences before and after moving into facility were analyzed. The results of this study were as follows; there are 12 factors for living at the facility. and 12 factors are 1)can live one's own life. 2)provide various chances. 3)there are some programs or devices for health maintenance. 4)good atmosphere 5)surrounding environment is good. 6)safety 7)can relax. 8)fun 9)feel the meaningful life. 10)can mingle with others. 11)community life 12)relationship with family. Pre-consumers had higher needs for hard-aspect and interpersonal relationships than facility staffs. |
