Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyse the design strategies of contemporary landscape architecture. This explains the steps through which contemporary landscape architecture can be developed. And how the theory of landscape architecture can be found by architects. Through the etymological studies, the semantic studies and studies of the theory of the residence, the concepts of landscape architecture can be defined. Through this research the foraging-ground and the nesting-place is redefined. Links and differentiations of the two area make and develop the variations of concepts about landscape. Contemporary landscape architecture is the result from differences and diversities of our societies and architectural properties. And from the thoughts of art and philosophy, the developments of science and technologies and the design by the digital softwares. Finally, The design strategies are categorized into the relations of the materiality, organic forms, eventual networks and redeterminations of senses.
