| Abstract |
Symbol is not simply to create a lock-in to a rudimentary concept. It has several different meanings, as well as makes possible other expressions to be done. In this regard, the symbol is a very misunderstood and undervalued. Such characteristic of the symbol is the same in the case of urban and architectural space. Symbol is especially important in being able to shape the intangible urban space. This article is chased the problems of symbol and proposed the concept of symbolic format, looking through Aldo Rossi and David Chipperfield's architecture. |
