| Abstract |
Recently, BIM technology in domestic AEC industry was mainly introduced by the government. However, small and middle architectural design firms still have trouble using BIM for their tasks, which means it is necessary to develop specific plans and methods to encourage them to adopt BIM. To do this, BIM templates are being researched and developed, and it becomes even more necessary to find out the demands of users in the field in order to develop more practical tools. This study mainly aims at finding out the necessary demands for developing BIM-based architecture tools. This research conducted surveys of hands-on experts in architecture firms by following three steps, and analyzed the responses by AHP methods to figure out their preferences in the demands and possible directions to support them. The results from this analysis can be applied in developing BIM template to improve its completeness. |
