| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic design process of Hanok in design development phase and to establish the core design standards for architects who are inexperienced in Korean traditional architecture design. Three core design standards(disposition of territories/scales of building/style of building components) are established to reinterpret the Korean traditional architecture and the same methodology can be applied to today's Hanok design. By determinating the levels in each standard, and recombining them, architects can design Hanok more efficiently. |
