Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to draw a spatial plan of child-care facility that a variety of local stakeholders agreed. The research subject was the child-care facility that fits within the community center which is expected to be built in the regeneration site as a strategic core place for regeneration. The method of study was the resident participated workshop that progressed throughout the 5th, which was planned to seek a plan of agreement among a variety of stakeholders such as child-care family, resident representatives, child-care professionals. Through the 5 rounds workshop process the final agreement was obtained by converging on a variety of planning requirements. This agreement could be used to reduce residents' conflict in the planning process and facilitate professionals to design reflecting the opinion of local residents. Also, it is expected to be effective for residents to play an autonomous role in development and management of child-care facility. |
