| Abstract |
Asbestos hazards have been studied by many people and the hazards become already known wide although it is not referred obstinately. Especially, more than 82% of imported asbestos is used as building materials, so asbestos containing material with the construction waste will be generated fatally when buildings are demolished. Slate among materials included asbestos is used wide along with economic development by the 1960s. Such slate becomes superannuated, so arsenic acid in asbestos can become a problem. Therefore, change is pushing ahead by the government. When asbestos in the deteriorated apartments is cut, ground up or disturbed, tiny asbestos fibres can fly into the air and exposed to the facility managers. However, there are few studies on the asbestos awareness of deteriorated apartments facility managers. This study investigated the asbestos awareness of facility managers of apartments built in the 80s in Daegu from Aug to Sep and try to furnish data of improve the working environment of the apartments, management of asbestos materials and asbestos system improvement through the survey results and analysis. In the results of analysis, it showns that asbestos awareness of deteriorated apartments facility managers is 1.50 of 4, lower than average points, asbestos policy awareness is lower than asbestos awareness (Exp(B) 0.315), and it is required efficient method of information offering through TV and newspapers. |
