| Abstract |
The study has, in order to deduce the universal design for Underground Public Pedestrian Facility, demonstrated following contents. First, established theoretical bases as well as the meaning and value the study holds through theoretical consideration of universal design and analysis upon precedent researches that had dealt the topic. Second, based upon the professional understandings regarding urban underground space, especially Underground Public Pedestrian Facility, analyzed various laws of the country accompanied with principles and guidelines upon which the city of Seoul operates. Third, derived framework for Underground Public Pedestrian Facility universal design, and set the according guidelines for practical application to the city of Seoul. Furthermore, indicated problems of current laws, thoroughly concluded with possible suggestions of improvement. |
