Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to provide basic information for improving community function and use activation of children's parks. The data for this study came from a survey of 349 residents in Gyungsan and were analyzed with frequency analysis, factor analysis, analysis of variance, and multiple regression. Results showed that, first, children's parks need to be in a location that anyone can find, visit, and stay for a long time; consequently, these parks have to be an attractive community space. Second, when residents actively use the children's parks, these parks can influence the relationship with neighbors and the community. Third, satisfaction with children's parks increases as the safety of the park increases. It is important not only to build an attractive place but also to manage the parks sustainably with the physical environment. |
