Abstract The purpose of the study is to analyze the energy saving effect according to the remote energy management system in the electric grid of the micro energy grid. Micro energy gird which includes electric grid, gas grid, heat grid and off grid is a grid that aims energy self-sufficiency at a small unit. To notify the energy saving effect applied to the electric grid among the micro energy grid, control the energy consumption for each building, manage the electricity through the energy operation center and analyze the effectiveness of the MEG. The total energy consumption would be demonstrated through the monthly and daily data and the energy saving would be verified as analyzing the hourly data in the MEG. The result of the remote energy management, MEG shows average of 10% on energy reduction and it is proved that the MEG is effective in energy saving. This study can be offered as the basic data for optimal energy management through the energy consumption pattern applied in Korea- micro energy grid.
