Abstract |
As energy conservation in buildings has become an important issue today, a variety of regulations are being implemented in Korea and other countries. G-SEED which is the representative environmental performance assessment in Korea designates '2.1.1 Energy Performance' item as the prerequisite assessment item. Besides, this item has the highest points of all of the items. Energy Performance Index(EPI) which consists of 39 factors for non-residential buildings is one of the assessment methods of 2.1.1 item. The scoring system of EPI has to get over 65 points out of 119 points by selecting factors of EPI. This selection of EPI is done freely except three factors which are mandatory. However this scoring system of EPI may cause some problems that easily applicable factors are more preferred over important factors for energy performance in buildings. This study analyzes selected factors of EPI in the non-residential buildings certified G-SEED. Also, the important factors of EPI for energy performance surveyed through Delphi survey method. The purpose of this study is to suggest the improved scoring system of EPI in G-SEED based on the analyzed results to assess reasonably for improvement of energy performance. |
