Abstract |
Korea made zero energy house compulsory until 2025 to fight against climate change and prepared a system for energy efficiency. However, there has not been any adequate guideline on the design of small buildings such as detached houses. Thus, this study identified the energy performance of facade design for the current detached houses and proposed an improvement plan for the district planning guidelines in order to diffuse the facade design for the energy saving of detached houses. As a result of analyzing the energy performance in accordance with the transmission heat losses through energy demand and thermal bridge area for each facade design element based on the result of the analysis of the current status for the facade design of detached houses in Pangyo new city, it seems that it will be possible to reduce heating and cooling energy demand and transmission heat losses through the improvement of facade design. This study proposed the recommendations for each item for the strengthening of energy performance in the district planning guidelines for Pangyo new city, which is able to suggest a direction for the facade design based on the aforementioned information. In this case, it would be possible to achieve the energy-efficient housing project through comprehensive contemplation in terms of the desired energy efficiency and design for house since the application of energy-efficient facade design is determined at the early phase of planning. |
