Abstract As the importance of environment management in construction sites has increased, there has been a tendency of reinforcing related laws and regulations. It is critical to understand and use environmental management related laws and regulations in order to conduct efficient and law-keeping environment management. However, due to the complexity and the volume of the information, difficulties arise in construction fields as to timely using such information. In order to improve this situation, it is necessary to develop and use an IT system by which the information of the environment management laws and regulations can be provided, and structuring such information is a first step. The objective of this paper is to structure tasks and the information of laws and regulations in environment management during construction stage by analyzing existing research and practice manuals.
