| Abstract |
This paper surveyed the features of Seok Chul Kim's urban planning projects presented in his overseas speeches. This study firstly made the list of Kim's abroad speeches, analyzing sponsorships which Kim received, research teams which he invited to join for his urban design projects, and publications which he produced as the outcomes of the researches. Secondly, it surveyed and analyzed Kim's major urban projects presented in international forums or symposiums in terms of the Yellow Sea Union, the aquapolis and a new round city. In conclusion, this paper suggested the features and the limitations of Kim's urban planning projects. |
