Abstract |
This study is assessment of sustainable block planning of Sung-Il Institute buildings in Seong-Nam hill-side city. At present, Sung-Il institute is located in Seong-Nam Dong, where different curriculums of 9 schools are concentrated. Topographic characteristics of this area are steep and rather small land for 9 schools. Different curriculums of 9 schools are concentrated in 134,000m2 land and already shown many problems such as bullies caused by age difference, lack of space and narrow commuting street. Among these 9 schools, taking Sung-Il institute (Sung-Il information high school, Sung-Il high school, Sung-il middle school) as object of this study and separate it from its current location to near hilly park area and apply sustainable block planning. The method of this study is to applying 3 sustainable method of block planning. The first method is geological friendly design. By adapting its own topographical characteristic, analyze amount of earth cutting and amount of earth backfilling to find the way to minimize it. The second method is sunshine·solar radiation·day light radiation improve design. This is analyzed by Ecotect and Vasari program and maximize southern area of building to increase the amount of sun ray comes inside the building. The last method is wind-way improve design. Wind current is analyzed by Vasari program and place buildings in 'ㄹ‘ and 'zig-zag' shape that wind can come and out freely. Furthermore, this study suggests efficient block planning of sustainable buildings based on the comparison of 2 alternations of school block plans in hill-side. |
