Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual situation of evaluation realities focused on feature of the indicator selected in accordance with the city size and the correlation between the indicators on central city revitalization of Japan to draw some lessons for the Korean system. The study analyzed follow up reports in 96 areas of Japan. As a result, the study found various conditions, the first is the trend for the selection and the numerical change of evaluation indicators according to population size of the center city. The second is actual situation about correlation between indicators such as proportional or inversely proportional associated with the improvement of them.
