Abstract |
The aim of this study is to analyze the operating status of the Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) in New York City, USA and related

looks at the administrative procedures, zoning plans, and spatial scope to understand the operation and management of the BIDs in New
York City. It also closely examines examples of environmental improvements in the area. The BIDs in New York City have been operated
successfully and produce tangible effects as an institutional means for managing urban space. The findings of this study are expected to
contribute to laying the foundation for promoting area management. |
