Abstract This study is aimed to estimate the original form of EuAhm Seowon that was built to cherish the studies and virtue of Miam Yu Hui-chun based on the consideration and analysis of old maps, eup (邑)-related materials, signboards, and collections of works. First of all, the period in which EuAhm Seowon was founded was that of seowon’s maturity and settlement. EuAhm Seowon is located in the right (east) of Damyang Hyanggyo, and it corresponds to the lot that has been estimated to be the site for EuAhm Seowon up until now. Although there is possibility that it should be the ground for Sadang that is the top in terms of the hierarchy of Seowon architecture, as far as the scale is concerned, the site should be the position of Sadang or Sammun. According to the development of seowon architecture, EuAhm Seowon is characterized by the distinct axis of the mid-17th century, Sadang-Naesammun-Gangdang-Munru, so we can establish the axis based on the site axis. Also, with the difference of the site level, Sadang and Naesammun is thought to have been positioned in the street address of 149, and about the arrangement, it is located on a slope that it is the type of Jeonhakhumyo and Jeonjaehudang.
