Abstract In this paper, the structural behavior according to details of corner joint for precast concrete(PC) wall panels or in-situ reinforced concrete walls subjected to opening bending moment was investigated experimentally. Also, the pattern of crack and the corner efficiency of different reinforcement detailings were studied from a literature review. It is practically difficult to provide structural integrity so much that structural strength of corner joints in PC wall structure is equivalent to that of corner joints in cast-in-place, monolithic concrete wall structure. However, test results show that the efficiency of wet connection with loop bars, shear keys, and high strength non-shrink grouting for PC wall corner joints is greater than 100%. Therefore, it is recommended that the depth of shear key should be sufficient to resist the opening moment by interlocking and the strength of grout should be greater than that of the PC wall to increase structural integrity of corner joints.
