Abstract |
Under the Housing Act of 2001, remodeling of apartments that have passed 15 years became possible, reducing the aging of existing
buildings and improving their functions. However, apartment remodeling is limited to increasing the number of households or improving the
outer shell of the residential building. There is no architectural plan in terms of community and social integration. In particular, factors that
can provide convenience to residents and improve slumming in the community should be considered in addition to improving performance
when remodeling rental apartments. This study focused on the social role of presenting new possibilities for community facilities in aging
rental apartments. The purpose of the study is to analyze the needs and improvements of residents through surveys and to suggest the
direction of the architectural plan considering social integration during remodeling. This study was conducted by surveys, interviews, and FGI.
The scope of the study was limited to community facilities in rental apartments. In the future, it is meaningful to provide basic data when
remodeling aging rental apartment community facilities, improve the system, and present the direction of policies. |
