Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of the current education and training system to derive the necessity of education on
individual competency and to suggest ways to improve education and training to improve individual competency in the future by analyzing
important individual competency items and competency levels of architectural design personnel. The conclusions obtained through this study
are as follows. 1) Most of the architectural design personnel felt that education and training were necessary to improve their individual
competency, and it was found that there were many opinions that the current legal education and training hours were insufficient. 2) It was
found that the five important core personal competency items that beginner and intermediate male and female architectural design personnel
should have are comprehension, analysis, responsibility, communication, and driving force. 3) The competency level of the five core
competency items that beginner and intermediate architectural design personnel consider important are all above average, but in the case of
beginner and female, the competency level for items such as planning, coordination and integration, decision-making, leadership, and vision
presentation was found to be insufficient. 4) In this study, education and training plans to improve the individual competency of architectural
design personnel were presented based on the results of the survey, and benchmarking plans based on the cases of developed countries were
presented. This study suggested a schematic improvement direction for improving the individual capabilities of domestic architectural design
personnel, but has a limitation in not being able to present specific education and training methodologies. In the future, a follow-up study
will be conducted to supplement the specific contents of the education and training plans described in this study. |
