Abstract |
In this study, indexes and method to evaluate the performance of school facilities were derived through literature review and applied to target
schools to verify their usability, and the main results and implications of the study are summarized as follows. First, eight indexes (SFCI)
were proposed to evaluate the performance of school facilities in consideration of the Ministry of Education's policy and linkage (utilization)
with the integrated information network. In addition, the performance evaluation method was set to predict and compare the cost of
maintenance, repair, and replacement for the next year's school facility performance recovery compared to the renovation cost. Second, since
the SFCI results are divided into five stages (good, normal, bad, serious, and very serious), it is thought that the priority of budget input for
each item can be determined according to the SFCI results. Finally, as a result of applying SFCI to three target schools, the detailed items
for improving the performance of each school were identified. However, since the analysis was based on school information registered in the
integrated information network, there is a limitation in that the maintenance details that occurred during the entire life cycle of each school
and building are not reflected. |
