| Abstract |
The implementation of Construction New Excellent Technology (Construction NET) aims to enhance the competitiveness of the construction
industry by applying advanced techniques to new construction projects. However, current practice of Value Engineering (VE) often rely on
the repetitive use of past project ideas, limiting the adoption of Construction NET. This research introduces a BIM-driven process for
retrieving Construction NET information. The process involved creating a Construction NET database, integrating BIM models with the
Construction NET database, and developing a parametric modeling-based process using Autodesk's Dynamo software to automatically filter
applicable technologies for specific BIM models and objects. The results demonstrated that the proposed method effectively identifies and
recommends suitable Construction NETs based on design information. This can contributes to the increased utilization of Construction NETs
during idea generation in VE practices. |
