| Abstract |
This study proposes a bolted dry joint for column-to-column connections in precast concrete columns and experimentally evaluates its
structural performance under cyclic lateral loads. The joint achieved 95 percent of the maximum load and showed a 68 percent increase in
ductility index compared to monolithic columns. The DRU secured initial stiffness and resisted deformation, while energy dissipation capacity
and residual stiffness retention also showed strong performance. Brittle behavior appeared under higher axial loads, identifying axial load as a
key factor influencing joint performance. |
