| Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to present directions for improvement in remodeling to increase the number of households based on an
analysis of 19 locations with business plan approval. Key implications include the need for urban extension plans that consider landscape
impacts, as vertical or separate extensions significantly affect the surroundings. Local governments should establish robust operational standards
to manage infrastructure burdens resulting from rising household numbers. Additionally, local standards are necessary for managing internal
and external connections at the urban level. The study also highlights the importance of sunlight access in residential spaces, advocating for
height restriction standards through the Building Committee to ensure adequate sunlight. Overall, thoughtful planning is crucial for sustainable
urban environments as household numbers grow. |
