| Abstract |
Among the recently confirmed temple sites of the Silla capital, there is a case where a wall structure building was excavated below the main
building. The wall structure plan and Toe plan are distinctly different from the wooden frame structure building site of the temple. These
floor plans was classified as types of urban housing during the Unified Silla period in previous studies, and was also interpreted as being
related to the Oksa(屋舍) chapter(835) of the Samguksagi(三國史記). The wall structure building site, which is confirmed to overlap with the
main building site, is specific data that allows us to examine the appearance of houses from a period earlier than the urban houses of the
Unified Silla period that have been confirmed so far. This study examines the properties of the housing plan confirmed at the temple site of
the Silla capital and aims to use it as basic data for research on the development process of housing and architectural structures during the
Unified Silla period and the auxiliary areas of temples. |
