| Abstract |
claims that new curriculum in theory of architecture should be developed.The research goal is to categorize and develop six major areas of study in theory of architecture on the basis of the above definition and concept of architecture, and suggest the appropriate references in each area. The design issues and concepts of in these six areas can be applied to design of architecture and cities that express the users' present and future needs, behaviors and values.Six areas are: 1)theory of space and form, 2)design methodology, 3)housing design theory, 4)environment-behavior study, 5)theory of modern architecture and its criticism, 6)analysis of architectural design. |
