A study of Loads on Conical Shell Structures |
| Abstract |
The objective of this study is to obtain the load components in the directions of the surface coordinate system on the middle surface of the conical shell when the loads act arbitrarily on that shell surface. With these load components, the equilibrium equations may be established for the analysis of such shells by the classical thin shell theory, and the input data of the nodal point loads can be easily obtained for the finite element analysis of multiple conical shell structures. |
