The purpose of this paper is to provide the basic data and to propose the types of residential area fitting in with actual circumstances in Korea.Factors for residential environment considered in this paper are as follows:1)Physical:orientation, sunlight, view and noise2)social and phychological:territoriality, safety, and privacyFor this reseavch data were collected through field survey and enquete. Based on the analysis of the data several guidelines for residential area design were proposed. |
