Abstract The term dwelling environment means the space, one of three basic elements of human life, e.g. food, clothing, and dwelling, and the concepts of artificial and social environment such as individual space, housing, community, and cities. However, these artificial elements are trivial in importance when compared to the natural elements. Ecological conditions such as food chain has much more significance than the artificial conditions, and they are dependent entirely upon the weather. The change of weather, in turn, is dependent upon the astrological change-mainly that of the Sun-Earth relationship. The Sun is the basis of all the environment for man and all forms of life, and it is for this reason that it has been worshiped as the God by the mankind the world over.Today we need not only the utilization of the solar energy but a more significant understanding of the nature of the environment. This is a study of the Sun-Earth relationship from the view-point of an architect. It examines also the relatively unknown problem of the Moon. The Study of the change of weather based upon the astrological change is conducted from the view-point of the residents in Seoul, Korea. In the course of the study, I developed a Model for observation of the change of Sun-Path, which enables us to observe the change of Moon-Path also. The model is for all, including the students of architecture, who hold it quite difficult to understand the concept of the cycles of ever changing Sun-Earth relationship.
