A Study on the interpretation theory of the streetscape |
| Abstract |
Streetscape which is the important element determining the image of the street, is the place in which culture have been accumulated and expressed, therefore, interpretative elements are established through grasping the cultural interpretative concept representing the living shared among a group of people in a consensual way. To do this, not denying the determinism found on the existing physical interpretation of the streetscape, this study is to grasp the cultural interpretative concept, on the basis of the town scape interpretative theories and the contextualism theories emphasizing the cultural aspects in the current ideas.So to speak, it is to establish the thesis of the interpretative elements in the cultural aspects on the basis of these concepts and to consider the interpretative concepts through the case study. |
