Abstract It's a general pattern that the building of late Buddhist Temples at mountainous district in Korea has their irregular order for visual considerations and with topographical difficulties.The Temple of Hwaumsa has been pointed out at a predominant building with spatial composition, among ones in such district, entertaining orderliness and regularity.In the view of this study, 'How would the spatial composition, in this temple, for the observers, be?' is pursued from a visual aspect.According to the strict measurement and visual analysis. following suggestion is cited:It has been noticed that, even though the building layout of the Temple of Hwaumsa seems to be in an orderly manner, it's axial line had been adjusted slightly in order to give cubic effects and to enliven the scene of facades.Such a slight transition of axial lines draws a remarkable attention in the composition methods of Korea traditional architecture as one of the best.
