Abstract This study is mainly concerned with the site plan, floor plan, elevation and structure of Kaeksa. Kaeksa was a kind of official hotel for foreign envoys, official guests had been founded by Koryo Dynasty and Chosun Dynasty at the provincial government office. But also a ceremony which a local governor was made an obedience to royal palace, was celebrated periodically twice on month.Kaeksa was made up main quarter(Joosa), two wing quarters(Iksa), servant quarter(Ko-jiksa), belvedere(Roo) etc.
