| Abstract |
This study is to propose more reliable test method in evaluating the sound insulation properties of building elements.The insulating performances of building elements have been measured by ASTM standards and the Surface Intensity Test Method.The results of the experiments indicate that Surface Intensity Test Method produces more reliable data than ASTM standards (ASTM E336-77) and that it can be applied to the field transmission loss measurement. |
