Abstract |
Probabilistic approach in structural engineering means investigating the uncertain and random features of structural behaviors with probabilistic method. Such a random features is time-dependent and nonperiodic, so considered as random process.In this paper, nonstationary response of mean-square displacement of one degree of freedom system under a stationary Gaussian process having a zero mean value is obtained by Monte Carlo method.Formulation is developed in terms of the frequency response function and a frequency domain approach using power spectral density function. |
