| Abstract |
Stud connectors have widely used for the composite structures. This paper is concerned with technique for steel frame connections between column and beam by means of welded study bolts. This kind of connection would especially be suitable for box type column to H type beam.In this paper, several stud types and diameters have been investigated and tests have been carried out: tensile and shear of welded studs and tests of connection specimens on steel column to beam assem blages. From experimental results, design formula and methods could be found out for steel beam to column connections. |
