An Inference of the Compressive Strength of Concrete by the Combined Rebound Value-Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Method |
Abstract |
Concrete mixes having water cement ratios of 0.4 and 0.6 by weight and slump values of 12cm and 18cm in fresh concrete were used for 15*15*55cm cubes and 10 *20cm cylinders for rebound values, ultrasonic pulse velocity and compressive strength test, in order to infer compressive strength of concrete by the combinded rebound value-ultrasonic pulse velocity method.A series of tests was done after curing for 3, 7, 28, 91, 182, 273, and 365 days in water and in laboratory air, respectively, for this study. Inference equations from the test results are evaluated. From correlation coefficients, determination coefficients and estimate standard errors for these inference equations, corration precision and F-distribution are abtained, therefore distribution rate is investigated. Finally, from the results of this experimental study, equation with accuracy and utility was inferred. |
