| Abstract |
Joints composing of the PC curtain wall structure act very important roles in the view of the structural safty, the appearance and water-proofness of the building.Water leakages in joint are simultaneously caused by rain water, water penetrating gaps and rain dripping forces. To prevent the causes of water leakage, sealing materials are used to seal up the joint gaps and the joint should be designed as water-proofing structure.The basic performance of the sealing materials which are often used in curtain wall joints and the design method of joint's dimension were studied in this paper.Joint structures of the 10 existing PC curtain wall buildings were also analyzed, and water-proofing joint structure which is most adaptable to water-proofness was shown in this paper. |
