Abstract The insufficiency of housing supplies makes to be serious problems on the increase of demands and bad dwelling levels of rental housing. As a Fundamental research on literature, the aim of this study is to suggest the approuching methods to solve the problems with which the rental housing are faced in Korea by analyzing the representative indicators or variables of dewelling levels except most of the economic problems in policy. The findings of this study are as follows1. The whole qualitative dwelling levels are shown to be such insufficient status as bad dwelling facilities of single family unit, overpopulated partial deposit or monthly rent household, regional unbalanced of dwelling facilities, and the trends of the tenant's preference.2. As one of the approuching methods to cope with the qualitative demand, it should be expected to design and supply the multi family unit and the apartment house for two households as well as various types and sizes of rental housing including the amenities with the consideration of the unique stage of family life cycle and the component of household.
