| Abstract |
For improvement of the residential environmental quality, it is regarded as essential to raise the level of sound insulation performance of residential buildings against noise pollution.Comparing with the cases of U.S.A., European countries and Japan on this topic, this country urgently needs to establish the evaluation standard of the sound insulation performance of residential buildings in urban area where the density of residence is relatively high.In this study, the airborne sound level of each component of a building : partition wall, exterior wall, unit wall, and floor, and the floor impact sound level of various type of residential buildings : single-family house, multi=family house and apartment were measured, and discussed. |
