Building technics of the second half of the Chosun Dynasty considering on the building periods |
| Abstract |
By examining the building documents from 17th to 19th century, it was known that constructions of the official budildings has the following charcteristics:short work period under one year, rapid procedure from footing to lifting lidge beam, year round works without ristrict of seasons. From those facts, we could conclude that building technics of the second half of the Chosun Dynasty reached developed step. High productivity, developement of assembling process, all the year round works were achieved in that times. |
