| Abstract |
In order to estimate insertion loss of absorptive duct silencer and transmission loss of steam ejection noise silencer, sound power being radiated from sound power source and fluid exhaust terminal was neasured by sound pressure and sound in intensity method.The preformance of silencers measured by sound intensity method is more similar to theoretical calculation than those by sound pressure method is.In addition, sound intensity method is much less influenced by sound field condition than sound pressure method. The sound power Level of specimen is appreared high in the order of 100cm, 5cm, 10cm distance between specimen and sound power measuring surface. |
