| Abstract |
There are two kinds of Boundary Element Method named Indirect Method and Direct Method which based on each findamental formula leaded from the superposition of principal solutions and boundary integral equation respectively, In this paper the accuracy of Direct and Indirect Method for two dimensional elasticity problems is compared and considered, depending on element modeling.As a result, the solutions calculated by second-order element of Direct Method on the analytical model are better than those by the lower element of Direct Method, And when using 0th order element, Indirect Method is superior to Direct Method. |
