| Abstract |
The present study analyzes the thermal performance and economic feasibility of passive solar school buildings with Trombe walls, which are developed by using the 1980 standard drawing for school buildings.Results show very promising outlet for the application of Trombe Wall technology to school buildings. Estimated SSF value was approximately 33% and it is anticipated that the DPP would be about 10 years for the annual fuel price rise of 5% which is very satisfactory considering the system life of 30-50 years. |
