The study found continuity of traditional house form and the local autonomy as the main course of variety in the new forms, and concludes that actual contribution of social housing towards working class was possible when the strategy was shifted from "fine building" to "rehousing the existing poors" and when the building and domestic technology was sufficiently developed. |
